We shopped for about 4 weeks, about a dozen dealerships, almost all were bait and switch but not here at Santa Monica GMC! Ed Khechoomian was EXCELLENT to work with. Very honest, very upfront and transparent pricing. These guys don’t try to screw you with mandatory dealer ad ons, they’re fair and will try to get you a great rate even if you’re pre-financed coming in! Do your research as a buyer, but this is one of the only honest dealerships I’ve come across! Def work with Ed, he’s solid.

I met Kwesi during a Hummer test drive at Santa Monica GMC, and he was immediately different—warm, unforced, genuinely kind. Not the typical “dealer-friendly.” Just real. What mattered most is what happened later: I didn’t even buy my Hummer there, but when I showed up for a service appointment and was initially turned away because the department was overloaded, Kwesi saw me and refused to let me get brushed off. He stepped in, owned the situation, and got it handled. He got my vehicle taken in and set me up with a brand-new 2026 Hummer rental, which turned a frustrating day into an easy one. When I picked my vehicle up, a couple of pieces weren’t installed properly. Kwesi didn’t minimize it—he genuinely cared, felt responsible for the experience, and made sure it was corrected the right way. That’s the thing: Kwesi doesn’t just “help”—he follows through. He takes pride in doing right by people. Because of him, I honestly don’t want to buy anything other than a GMC as long as there are people like Vroom involved. If you’re going to Santa Monica GMC, ask for Kwesi Da-Costa (“Vroom”). (Only reason this isn’t a full 5-star experience: I was initially turned away from my appointment and my vehicle was first returned with the service access covers not properly installed. Everything else was outstanding.)

We had an amazing experience with Matthew! He went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly and to get us exactly what we needed. We are absolutely loving our new GMC Yukon! Matthew has even reached out a few times after our purchase to ask if I needed any help figuring out any of the functions in the car. Which is amazing because I am not very great with technology! So he has been super helpful! A lot of places would have just got the sale and then never reached out to us again. Just in it for the money. But Matthew was not and he truly cared that we got great customer service and all of the help we needed before and after the sale! And he was not a pushy/ rude salesman at all! So it was so nice working with him. We wouldn’t have gotten our Yukon if it wasn’t for Matthew!! I definitely recommend Santa Monica GMC and to ask for Matthew!
